Public utility company "City heating plant" Pirot performs the tasks of supplying thermal energy in the territory of the City of Pirot. Electricity supply in the territory of the City of Pirot is carried out by the company Elektrodistribucija Pirot, which operates within the public company with headquarters in Nis. "Elektrodistribucija Pirot" covers the entire territory of the municipality with 16 substations with a voltage level of 35/10 kV installed power of 112.20 MVA with additional power derived from the substations 35/6 kV with a total power of 13.70 MVA. The total electricity consumption in Pirot is about 200 million kWh. The telecommunications sector is the fastest growing area in the world today.
